Yvonne J. Leach

Born in Toledo Yvonne was the daughter of Harry and Henrietta (Braun) Jacobs. She attended grade school in Erie and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Toledo. Yvonne married the love of her life, Floyd Leach on July 6, 1948. Sadly he preceded her in death June 17, 1995. A dedicated homemaker she also drove a School Bus for Jefferson Schools for over 22 years. Yvonne was a faithful member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Newport. She loved traveling, reading and the opera but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory her children: Douglas Leach of Newport, David (Connie) Leach of Monroe, Lonnie Leach of Monroe, Rochelle (Al) Begin of Salem, Oregon, Denise Jones of Monroe and Diane (Daniel) Bush of Monroe; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Roslyn Leach; a grandson Dean Leach; four brothers: Jack Jacobs, Aaron Stark, Durward Stark and Merrill Stark; and five sisters Shirley Blessman, Audry Diver, Jeanett Petee, Evelyn Duvall and Dolores Steinman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Yvonne may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church.
