Willis Alvin Keesee

Willis “Bill” Alvin Keesee, age 83 of Monroe, passed away June 14, 2024 in his home.

Born June 24, 1940 in Bristol, Virginia, Bill was the son of Alvin and Edna (Byran) Keesee. A 1957 graduate of Wallace High School, he very proudly and faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps from March 17, 1961 until January 14, 1966. Bill married the love of his life, Sandy Elliott on September 1, 1962 at the Fellowship Chapel in Briston Virginia. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing softball, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill leaves to cherish his memory, Sandy, his wife of the past 61 years; his children: Ronnie (Tammy Cebalt) Keessee, Shelia (Mark) Wrobel and Teresa (Brian) Millican as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren (with one on the way). Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings: his twin brother Jessie Keesee, David Keesee, Glen Keesee and Carol Duckett.
