William Warren Neubecker Jr.

William “Bill” Neubecker Jr, age 94 of Trenton, passed away peacefully, with family at his hospital bedside, after a short illness on Wednesday April 10, 2024.

Bill was born April 26 th , 1929, to the late William and Clara Neubecker. Dear brother of the late Don Neubecker, the late Mary Ann (the late Jack) Price, Luella Ballard, the late Jerry (the late Pat) Neubecker, the late Tom (Sue) Neubecker, Barbara (Doyle) Burke and Tony (Mary) Neubecker.

He married Neva (Spradlin) in 1949 and together they had 13 children, Lynda (Chris) Cullen, the late Naida Neubecker, Michael (Timeko) Neubecker, Robbin (Doug) Gates, Nancy (the late Ross) Mayrand, Theresa VanWasshnova, Heidi (the late Richard) Schroeder, Mary (Matthew) Manners, Christine Neubecker, Bernadette Hall, Bridget Miller, Damian Neubecker, Shannon (the late Brian) Attard. Bill adored his 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Bill and Neva also hosted a dozen foreign exchange students from around the world, over the years. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. His wife, Neva of 57 years, passed away in 2007.

He married Patricia (Berkopec) in 2012 and with this union, he embraced seven more children, to make it an even twenty! His stepchildren include Cheryl, Donna, Erin, Bridget, Susan, Brenda and Jason.

Bill was the owner of Neubecker Building Co. for most of his adult life. As he slowed down a little, he did home insulation with his company Comfort Zone, and he did a bit of Real Estate as well. He finally retired at 89 years old.

Bill was a man of great faith. He was a member of St. Cyprian, Our Lady of the Woods and currently, St. Joseph Church. He was very active in volunteering. He served the communities of Brownstown, Riverview and Woodhaven in the Kiwanis club. He is also a Past Grand Knight with Knights of Columbus in Trenton. He loved to sing Karaoke and on his cruise to Alaska, in September 2023, he won the Karaoke contest on the ship! He always had an eye on politics but said recently that he couldn’t wait for this next race to be over. Relationships with his children, grands and great grands and even great-great grands were the most important thing in his life and he got together with them every chance he could.

Visitation will take place on Friday April 19 th , 2024, 3:00pm – 8:00pm, at The Trenton Chapel-Martenson’s, 3200 West Rd. Trenton, MI 48183

In State- April 20th , 9:30 am – 10:00 am, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2623 Third St., Trenton, MI 48183, followed by a Mass Service at 10:00 am
