William R. Keeth longtime resident of Woodhaven, Michigan passed away on August 26, 2023, He was 56 years old, born on September 8, 1966 to Leo and Janet Keeth. He was the loving husband of Laura W. Keeth for over 30 years marrying on April 24, 1993 in Allen Park.
Bill enjoyed sports, his favorites were baseball, golf, basketball, hockey and football. Bill loved traveling, playing and watching poker, the annual family Euchre tournament and trips to Vegas. He never met a Western with Clint Eastwood or John Wayne he would not stop to watch. Annual must watch events at the Keeth household were the Quiet Man on Saint Patrick's Day, the West Wing marathon, and at Christmas, White Christmas, National Lampoons Christmas with Chevy Chase (also a favorite of his late father-in-law Ross) and a Christmas Story. Bill loved airplanes and his father-in-law flew fighter jets, a match made in heaven. Fishing was also a favorite vacation activity. He married an avid reader but rarely ever read a book himself. He loved war movies and Memorial Day and Veteran's Day were spent watching his favorites. Bill loved music his favorite band being Queen. He had an extraordinary music collection on his phone making long drives easy to enjoy.
Most important to Bill though were his friends and family. Bill ate lunch 3 to 4 times a week with his friend Tim and loved all things NASA with his friend Brian. His closest friend for many years was Mike and he had many stories of their youthful escapades. Not having children and brothers of his own his nieces and nephews were the children he never had and his brother-in-laws the brothers he never had as well.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Laura. He was the cherished brother of Laurie (Fred) Loria, Lisa (Randy) Oates, Patricia (Dave) Tester, and Anita (Gerard) Shaw and brother-in-law to Jennifer (Frank) Portelli and Holly (Eddie) Palacios. Beloved Uncle to his 19 nieces and nephews, Michelle, Ben, Paul, Carrie, Danielle, Tony, Rebecca, Mike, Bryan, Elizabeth, Christina, Chelsea, Zachary, Kathryn, Benjamin, Sarah, Joseph, Ross and Nick. Great Uncle to his 11 great nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Janet. Many other loving extended family members also survive.
