William H. Elrod

Elrod, William H., age 89 of Trenton. Went home to be with his late wife of 61 ½ years, Geraldine, and the Lord July 16, 2017. Loving father of Diana Elrod and Larry (Evelyn) Elrod. Beloved grandfather of Dawn Rena, Heath, and Sheryl, and great grandfather of Brett, Tamara, and Andrew. He is survived by his sisters Lorraine and Ruvana and his brother Forest. William was a jack of all trades who loved working on cars, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. William while serving in the U.S. Army was part of the occupation force in Japan. A visitation in honor of William will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Thursday July 20, 2017 from 12:00pm until 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday July 21, 2017 at The Woodhaven Free Will Baptist Church at 11:00am with a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
