Henderson, Sr., William G., (Grumpy) Formerly of Trenton Passed away on March 3, 2007 in Chilicothe, OH. Born April 20, 1925 to Mildred and Howard Henderson Sr., the family moved to Trenton in 1938. William was the area Duncan YoYo champion, and played varsity tennis before graduating from Trenton High. He also played table tennis, bowled and was an avid golfer. He served in the army and was stationed in Europe during WWII. Upon returning home he helped run the family owned "Trenton Sweet Shop" on West Rd near Fort St. and later hired back into the Trenton Channel/Power Plant from which he retired as a journeyman pipe fitter. He was a pin setter at the plant employee club house, active in the Trenton Good Fellows, Indian Guides, and with local Boy Scout Troops. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughter Barbara, son David, grandsons Tim, C.J. and William III, grand daughters Becky, Chris and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Barbara, son William Jr., daughter in law Kay, brother Howard Jr., grandson Robert and granddaughter Tina.
