Loving husband of the late Evelyn "Evie" Kemp. Dear father of Chris (Linda) and Scott (Kim). Proud grandpa of Chelsae (George) Quiroz, Haley (Mike) Dunne, Leah and Layne Beaubien. Great grandpa of Annabella and Nellie Dunne. William is also survived by his brother Denny Mitchell as well as other loving family and friends. William honorably served his Country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the Engineering Department for Wayne County as a Project Supervisor, served as the Treasurer for the City of Taylor and retired from public service in 1990. William's love in life was his family and he enjoyed golfing and playing cards but his real passion was playing pool. He played pool for many years representing the VFW and was the State Pool Champion for many of those years. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
