William Earl Bostwick

William Earl Bostwick, 82, of Allen Park, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence M, and Ona A. Bostwick and a sister, Beatrice M. Bostwick. He is survived by his brothers Paul D., Lloyd L. (wife Betty), and Daniel M. (wife Judi); and an abundance of nieces and nephews. Bill was born January 15, 1940 in Wyandotte, MI. He graduated from Melvindale High School. He also served in the U.S. Army at home and then in Germany. Bill later graduated from drafting school in Detroit and became a draftsman in the auto industry. Later in life he worked as a driver for railroad engineers in the tri-state area. He was a world-wide traveler, but his greatest joy was serving the Lord as grounds keeper at his home church, the Inter-City Baptist Church and schools in Allen Park, MI. Service and Visitation will be from Martenson Funeral Home, 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI. Visitation Thursday 2-8 PM. Friday 9-10 AM. Service at 10 AM. A luncheon will be served at Inter-City Baptist Church, 4700 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI. Interment will be at 2 PM at the Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward Ave, Berkley, MI 48072. Donations in Bill’s memory can be made to Inter-City Baptist Church or Maranatha Baptist Church.
