William Clayton Bomia

Bomia, William Clayton. Age 71. Died September 16, 2006 at his home. Husband of Joan Bomia of Monroe. Father to William J. Bomia of Monroe, Jeffery (Teresa) Bomia of Monroe, Greg A. Bomia of Maybee, Lisa (Max) Barboza of Monroe and Leslie Bomia of Monroe. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Jim (Joyce) Bomia of CA, Jack (Betty) Bomia of Monroe and Don Bomia of Monroe; and 1 sister Pat McPhail of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents Clayton H. and Vernetta R. (nee Short) Bomia and one brother Tom Bomia. William served his country in the US Army December 22, 1954 until December 10, 1958 and was stationed in Germany. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1953, attended Wayne State University, was a member of Local #723 and was an avid softball player for many years. He also enjoyed cooking. William worked for Ford Motor Co in Monroe for 30 years as a foreman. He received a award from Ford Motor Co for 30 years of perfect attendance.
