Tkacz, Wasyl. Age 74. September 16, 2018 of Southgate. Beloved Husband of the late Eugenia. Loving Tato of Bohdana (Jeff) Wohlart, Yvonne Tkacz and Kristina Tkacz. Proud Jaji of Zackary and Alexis. Cherished Brother of Bohdan Tkacz, the late Michael Moroz, Marija Langhorst and Luba Alexander. Dearest uncle of Natalie, Audrey, Hania and Ethan. Also survived by his mother-in law Mary Ciko; sister-in-law Olga Petryk; brother-in-law Jerry Ciko as well as other loving family and friends. Wasyl proudly served his Country in the United States Marines. Visitation is on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 3 pm - 9 pm with the Downriver Veterans Honor Guard Service Wednesday 6:45 pm followed by the Panahayda Service Wednesday at 7 pm all at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard), Allen Park. Wasyl will lie in state on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 9 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Urkainian Greek-Catholic Church, 6340 Chase Road, Dearborn until the service which will begin at 10 am. Interment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). A video tribute will be added, please check back.
