Volores D. Shabinaw

Volores was the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Dumont) Duchene. She married Eugene Shabinaw in October of 1997. A dedicated homemaker, Volores was a member of the VFW Post 4230 Rock of Gibraltar Ladies Auxiliary. A talented artist who loved to do Oil Paintings she also enjoyed writing poetry. Volores leaves to cherish her memory Eugene, her husband of over 15 years; children: James (Cynthia) Rogers of South Rockwood, Susan Ellison of Minnesota, Patricia (Joseph) Porter of Gibraltar, Francis (Carmen) Kolakowski of South Rockwood, Judith (Kerry) Ford of Dundee and Paula (Scott) Smith of Chase, Michigan; twenty grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a brother Bernard "Wally" (Mary) Duchene of Rockwood. Sadly Volores was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Arnold Duchene, Ernie Duchene and Frank Duchene; as well as two sisters: Muriel Drouillard and an infant sister Dorothy Duchene.
