Virginia P. Venier

Born in Detroit, Virginia was the daughter of Edward and Catherine (Schaefer) Tumey. A 1961 graduate of Grosse Ile High School, she married the love of her life, Don Venier, on January 12, 1962 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood. Sadly he preceded her in death September 18, 1965. A dedicated homemaker, Virginia loved listening to 50's and 60 music as well as coloring. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory her children: Don (Barbara) Venier and Robert Venier; grandchildren: Donald (Christine) Venier and Brenna (Justin) Taurence; as well as great grandchildren: Troy, Preston and Logan.; and a sister in law Jeanette Tumey. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Tumey and Donald Tumey.
