Alexa, Violet M. Age 85 of Riverview was born April 30, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan and died on September 2, 2015 at Rivergate Terrace in Riverview. Beloved wife of the late Mike. Loving mother of Kathy (the late Ken) Brown, Micheale (Tim) Tye and the late Sharon Fry. Beloved aunt of Nila Woods. Dearest grandmother of Kenneth Michael Brown, Nicole Sandusky, the late Stephanie Tye, Amy Marie Foster, Daniel Scott Brown, Annette Kernohan, Dawn Marie Mundy and Roxann Scharer. Also survived by her 16 great grandchildren, one sister Angie Froh as well as other loving family and friends. Violet was known to be a pistol and was a very stubborn person; she had a lively fun-loving and feisty personality. She was an avid reader who enjoyed playing cards, dancing and drinking beer; she loved being with people and will forever be missed. Funeral service is Friday, September 4, 2015 at 6 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd., Allen Park.
