Victor Charles Campbell

Victor Charles Campbell

Born in Detroit, Victor was the son of Dougall and Lorene (Schmitt) Campbell. A graduate of St. Francis Xavier High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army and then the Naval Reserves. Victor married the love of his life, Carole Behm, October 24, 1959. Sadly she preceded him in death May 15, 2018. Victor worked as a Tool and Die Maker for General Motors for over 32 years, retiring in 1991. He then worked at Manheim Auto Auction for 12 years, before retiring in 2004. Victor was a faithful member of St. Roch Catholic Church and proud to have been a member of the Knights of Colombus for over 62 years. He loved cars, enjoyed bowling and golfing, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Victor leaves to cherish his memory his children: Cynthia Schlacht, Victor (Cheryl) Campbell Jr. and Cheryl Bradley; grandchildren: Renee, Rachel (Will) Shawna (Jeremy), Chad, Aimee (Adam) and Ian; five great grandchildren: Alexandria, Zayna, Jay, Adeline and Jenson; as well as two siblings: Eugene (Mary Ann) Campbell and Loretta (Raymond) Brennan. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son Christopher; two siblings: Gerald Campbell and Rosemary Richason.
