Vicki Lynn Heck

Vicki Lynn Heck, age 70 of Ida, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in her home.

Born August 10, 1952 in Toledo, Vicki was the daughter of William and Mary (Wright) Fortney. A graduate of Whitney High School, she married Chuck Carmichael on January 1, 1992. Sadly he preceded her in death August 15, 1996. Vicki then married Dwight Heck on March 28, 1998.

Vicki worked as a Custodian for Anthony Wayne Schools, Erie Mason Schools and Monroe Public School as well as owning Health Your Way for 16 years, a health and nutrition store in Ida. She attended the Assembly of Yahweh Church in Eaton Rapids and she enjoyed shopping. Vicki was famously known for being late throughout her life and encourages all who plan to pay their respects at the funeral home to come, even if you think you may be late.

Vicki leaves to cherish her memory, Dwight, her husband of the past 24 years; her children: Joann (Jeremy) Westphal and Bryan Pressnell; grandchildren: Autumnn, Camrenn, Starr and Morrisa; great grandchildren: Keagen and Averi; as well as her siblings: Sandra (Ron) McCloskey, Gloria Godwin, Grace Fulford, Billy Fortney and Mark Payne. In addition to her parents and husband Chuck, she was preceded in death by an infant brother David Fortney.
