Verple D. Lazette

Born in Monroe, Verple was the daughter of Allen and Louise (Curley) Pulcheon. She was married on June 9, 1945 to the love of her life, Woodrow “Dub” Lazette who sadly preceded her in death in April of 1968. Verple worked for Oerther Brothers Trucking for many years before her retirement. Verple leaves to cherish her memory a sister Dolores Pask of Monroe; two nieces: Shelly Pask and Sheryl Pask; two adopted nieces: Deb Henderson and Eileen Soeder; two nephews: Terry Pulcheon and Keith Pulcheon; daughter-in-law Lindy Lazette; as well as two grandsons: Adam and Christopher Lazette; In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two stepsons: Larry Lazette and Darryl Lazette; and two brothers: Edward C. Dixon and Leo Pulcheon. In accordance with Verple’s wishes, all services will be held privately. Private burial to be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Verple’s family would like to thank ALL of the staff at Fountain View of Monroe for their loving care and support of Verple over the past year. Thanks also to Great Lakes Caring Hospice for their care during her final weeks.
