Verneal E. Carr

Born in Lorain, Ohio, Verneal was the daughter of Ralph and Esther (Campbell) Beal. She married the love of her life, John Carr, on November 23, 1948. Sadly he preceded her in death May 13, 2003. A dedicated homemaker, Verneal also had worked various positions throughout her life, including Glazier Gifts in Orlando, Florida for some 15 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed crocheting, gambling, playing card games and reading books. Verneal leaves to cherish her memory her children: John (Patricia Pushka) Carr, Jr. of Ida, Jeff Carr of Orlando, Florida and Cheri (Willard) Pfluge of Monroe; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia Osgood; two brothers: William Beal and Richard Beal; her best friend and sister-in-law Cathy Beal; as well as a granddaughter Tracy Carr. Verneal would like to send her love to all of her family, nieces and nephews and friends. She will be sadly missed by all her knew and loved her. In accordance with Verneal's wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A family memorial gathering celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in honor of Verneal may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
