Vern L. Montague

Vern L Montague was born January 3, 1928 to the late Paul and Christine Montague. He passed away peacefully at home September 29, 2017 with his beloved wife Elsie by his side. Vern served in the army as Private First Class and was later a spray painter for Ford Motor Company. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his daughter Rolinda (Jim) McKnight. Beloved poppy to Elizabeth, Emily, Elora, and Esther. Vern loved watching birds out his window and looking at his birds in Bloom magazine. He enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith show and reading his Bible with Elsie. Vern very much enjoyed playing with his four grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by not only his family, but all who knew him.
