Vera Lalik

Vera Lalik of Allen Park, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved mother of John (Sue) Zaucha, Jeff Zaucha, Cindy (Bob) Smale, Venisa (Ed) Figure, Joe (Bette) Lalik, and Lori (Kevin) Talbot. Loving grandmother of Sara Zaucha, Jenifer (Nate) Thomasma, Joe (Yasameen) Smale, Jamie Lynn Figure, Amanda Lalik, and Adam (Kristina) Lalik. Dearest great-grandmother of Josh, Avery, Maddy, and one baby boy on-the-way. Vera was preceded in death by her first husband John S. Zaucha, her second husband C. Joseph Lalik, and her four siblings. She will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation for Vera will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, January 29, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Guests are welcome to meet family inside the gates of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 for a graveside committal service prior to interment.
