Velma Mae Thomson

Born in Maybee, Velma was the daughter of Leonard and Viola (Baich) Kidd. She married the love of her life, Harry Thomson, on July 11, 1967. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1990. A dedicated homemaker, Velma also had worked as a waitress at various restaurants. Velma enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and painting porcelain dolls. Velma leaves to cherish her memory her children: Darrale (Joyce) Patrias of Turlock, California, Sharon (Joel) Cole of Parma, Ohio, James (Judy) Thomson of Lake, Michigan, Douglas (Caroline) Thomson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jack Thomson of South Dakota; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; a sister Joann Lyons of Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Jack Kidd and 2 sisters, Ina Marchese and Joyce Mason
