Tyler Harrell-Burleson

Tyler Russell James Harrell-Burleson was born on June 4, 1998 in Dearborn, Michigan and died on June 7, 2021 at the age of 23; he was of Taylor. Beloved son of Richard Harrell, Jr. and the late Shandale Burleson-Drugach. Dearest brother of Haley and Zachary Burleson-Drugach. Cherished grandson of Diana and the late Richard Harrell, Melisa Mather and Mark Mather and cherished great grandson of Reba Vernell Harrell "Granny" and the late Yuana Rios Gaskin "Grandma Yuana" Loving nephew of Shannon Harrell and Timothy Mather. Also survived by other loving family and friends. He graduated in 2016 from Airport High School. Tyler was a bright light to anyone fortunate enough to be in a room with him. His warm smile and infectious laugh drew people to him, and he was always welcoming and accepting to everyone he met. He was a mentor to the children in his family, always going out of his way to engage them in play and learn about their interests. A deep thinker and artist, Tyler was always open to new ideas and ready to learn from others. The world is a little less bright, a little less joyful, without his presence. He will be dearly missed.
