Smith, Troy E., Sr. Age 86 of Melvindale. Born August 12, 1928 in Fonde, KY and died January 23, 2015 in Allen Park, MI. Beloved husband of 53 years to Joyce. Loving dad of 50 years of Troy, Jr. (Michelle). Proud papa of Nicole Smith. Dearest brother of Janette Martin of Monroe, MI and Joseph Smith of Byron, MI. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents James A. and Jessie E. (nee: Capshaw) Smith; two brothers Louis and William Smith and three sisters Ethel Walton, Dolly Thomas and Geneva Redmond. Troy attended school in Fonde, KY; was a retiree of General Motors; attended church at the Heritage Park Church of God and loved fishing, playing guitar, attending church and watching western movies and television shows.
