Tressie D. Ruegsegger

Tressie Doris (Dennison) Ruegsegger, 86, of Trenton, Michigan, formerly of Fort Mill, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Oakwood Skilled Nursing Center in Trenton, Michigan. She was born in Bristol, West Virginia on October 7, 1921 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Trenton. Tressie is survived by her daughter Sandi (Ron) Gildersleeve of Trenton, Michigan; her granddaughters Jennifer (C.J.) Trupp of Novi, Michigan and Jeanette (Steve) McKinnie of Canton, Michigan; her great grandchildren Elizabeth, Camden & Corinne Trupp of Novi, Michigan and the soon to arrive baby McKinnie of Canton, Michigan; her son Keith (Cathy) Ruegsegger; her grandchildren Chris, Cathy Ann & Bill (Tina) Ruegsegger and her great grandchildren Brittney & Cody Ruegsegger all of South Carolina. She is further survived by her nephew, Ron (Hilarie) Vetere of North Carolina and her great niece, Rhonda Vetere of New York. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving spouse, Keith Ruegsegger; her older sister, Helen Peterson and her twin sister Tessie Vetere. Relatives and friends are welcome at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Road, on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral services for Tressie will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Trenton, Michigan, 2799 West Road. She will be lying in state at 10:30am with service beginning at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Rev. Dr. Duane Armistead and Rev. Ian Leslie will be officiating. We would like to thank all of the staff of the Oakwood Skilled Nursing Center in Trenton, Michigan for their love and care they gave to Tressie and her family.
