Timothy “Tim” “Timmy” Michalski

Timothy (Tim, Timmy) Michalski. Age 88 of Southgate.

Tim Michalski led a joyful life enjoying his blessings with his wife Carol. He served in the Army for two ears and held a position at Federal Screw works for much of his working life.

Tim played the part of Santa for many years to the delight of family members, friends and community groups. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his retirement with daily walks and later simply appreciated watching the birds and wildlife around his apartment. He loved taking day trips with friends and more recently participated in Senior Olympics and activities at American House. Tim was an easy going guy who was quick to smile and tell you he was "doing ok" even though he suffered from pain and dementia.

Beloved husband of Carol for 52 years. Loving father of Matt (Kathy) Kane and Shelly (Matt) Harding. Also survived by grandchildren, Dustin and Tim Kane, Aidan, Brendan and Olivia Harding. Preceded in death by sibling, Chuck Michalski and mother Josephine Michalski.
