Timothy James Greashaber, age 71 of Monroe, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born November 17, 1950 in Ypsilanti, Tim was the son of Harold and Elaine (Reno) Greashaber. He was a Boy Scout, had a paper route delivering the Monroe newspaper and started as a delivery person for Elliot’s TV and Appliance at age 12. A 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 until 1973, serving in California, South Carolina, Tennessee and Japan. Tim married the love of his life, Barbara Mignano, on June 21, 1974. Sadly she preceded him in death January 3, 2019. Tim worked as a Millwright at Dundee Cement for over 32 years, retiring in 2000. He then worked for North Monroe Greenhouse and Nortel Lanes. Tim was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where he also served as an usher. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing softball and watching football, especially University of Michigan Football, gardening and traveling, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family. Tim leaves to cherish his children: Rebekah (Joshua) Halsey and Gregory Greashaber-Mignano; as well as two grandchildren: Eric Nunn and Ryan Nunn. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son Todd Andrew Greashaber and two siblings: Patricia Tidwell and Michael Santimore.
