Thomas Michael Drake, Sr.

I lost my love today. He was an honorable, devoted, loving man that spent his life caring and giving to others. After retiring from the State of Michigan, he became a teacher which was so close to his heart. He was a cherished role model to his students and other lives that he touched. He is survived by his devoted loving wife, Mary. He was the proud father of Tom (Debbie) and Liz, and grandfather to Lily and Diego. Brother of Chet (Cheryl), brother-in-law to Frank (Audrey). He is also survived by a niece, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. He left this life with great courage and he asked his family to try and be strong, stay close for each other and live your life. We are so blessed to be loved by him. His legacy lives in all of us. I believe that the essence of a life that is lost is measured by those that love you. Tom was and is so loved.
