Thomas J. Platz, age 76 of Novi, MI (formerly of Sterling Heights, MI) passed away September 30, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Denise Platz for 53 wonderful years. Loving father of Michael (Kelle) Platz, Jennifer (Sean) Bartolucci and Christine (Jeremy) Blanchette. Proud grandpa “Poppi” of Brandon, Ryan, Maddeline, Sullivan and Julia. Beloved brother of Henry “Rusty” (Phyllis) Platz III. He leaves behind his loving and loyal dog Sadie. A visitation in honor of Thomas will be held Monday October 4, 2021 at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI from 2:00pm until 9:00pm with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:00pm. A service will be held the following day, Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Parish in Northville, MI with an instate at 10:30am and mass at 11:00am. Memorial contributions in honor of Thomas may be made to the American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements handled by the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes.
