Thomas H. St. Bernard

Born in Monroe, Thomas was the son of Harold & Barbara (Gamboe) St. Bernard. He married the love of his life, Leigh Ann Gibson on December 4, 1981. Sadly she preceded him in death February 25, 2009. During his career, Thomas worked both as a Truck Driver and in the construction trades. Known for his kind heart and dependability, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need, from collecting items for "Toys for Tots" to giving the shirt off his back. Thomas loved to fish, but was probably best known for his passion for playing pool, having won the Monroe Men's Pool League title 3 of the past 6 years. He also was a member of the VFW Post 1138 Men's Auxilary. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory his son Thomas H. St. Bernard II of Ann Arbor; sister Karen Zeestraten of Monroe; brother John (Nancy) St. Bernard of Monroe and his best friend Jimbo Wonsowski of Monroe. In addition to his wife Leigh Ann, he was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Thomas' honor are asked to consider the St. Bernard family to assist with funeral expenses.
