Thomas George Wade of Monroe, Michigan passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 91. Thomas was born on May 3rd, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan and was the son of Ralph and Rhea (Dool) Wade. In 1971 he met the love of his life Evelyn Binns and was married on September 11, 1971. Thomas and Evelyn spent 43 loving years together before Evelyn’s passing on May 9th, 2014. Thomas worked as a Chemical Mixer for Wyandotte Chemical BASF for over 35 years before retiring in 1993. Thomas and Evelyn were proud members of the St. Andrews Royal Scottish Honor Guard and members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Monroe. Thomas had many interests and hobbies and especially loved to golf which he still did at 91. He also loved fishing, playing cards, dining out, and shopping (he loved to brag about his many shopping deals). When relaxing he liked to enjoy a good pint of Guinness, but most importantly he enjoyed his many hobbies with friends and family, especially his grandchildren. Thomas treasured his time with his friends and family and was the ideal family man. His selflessness, overwhelming generosity, and unconditional love will be cherished and remembered the most.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory his children: Marsha Morquin, David (Ilene) Wade, Peggy (Glenn) Erwin, Kelly (Art) Bondy and Sherry Wade; grandchildren: Lacy (Peter) Judkins, Matthew Wade, Sarah Wade, James Savidge, Dawn Torkin, David Frye, Kaeley Frye, Joshua Wade, Rachael Wade, Rebecca Wade, Leah Wade, Joy Wade, Faith Wade, Jennifer Erwin, Ben (Tamra) Erwin, Corey Wade (Logan McGuinness), Shaina (Trung) Mai, T.J.
