Thomas F. Busby

Thomas F. Busby, age 77 of Lincoln Park and lifelong resident of the Downriver area, passed away May 18th, 2021. Born August 17, 1943 in Wyandotte to the late James and Marie Busby. Thomas was a graduate of Lincoln Park High School and an avid Detroit Tigers fan. After retirement, Thomas cherished his time volunteering at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital for over 20 years. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory his lifetime partner of 50 years Jennie. Also survived by his brother Raymond (Verna), sisters Irene Malick, and Dorothy Sparks. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Thursday May 20th, 2021 from 2pm-8pm, at the Allen Park Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (corner of Goddard). The family will receive friends Friday May 21st, 2021 from 9:30am until time of Mass 10am, at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1540 Riverbank St., Lincoln Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, and/or the Salvation Army.
