Theresia Teifer

The family of Theresia Marguerite Teifer, 82 of Trenton, Michigan is sad to announce her passing due to a heart attack on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1942 in Budapest Hungary to Michael and Eva Vorosmarty. She and Jack Teifer, a Captain of the Trenton Fire Department, shared a long and loving marriage from 1968 until his passing in 2014.

Following her education at Ferris State University, Theresia was employed over the years as an insurance adjuster and as an executive secretary. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed embroidery and pottery. She especially loved to travel.

Thereisa is survived by four loving sisters left to cherish her memory: Ava V. Rowe of Budapest Hungary and Plano, TX; Marika & Gary Blumerick of Utica, MI; Alexandria Hamaker & Joe Kocherar of Houston, TX; and Louisa Vorosmarty & William Potvin of Armonk, NY.

Services at the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, Inc., Trenton Chapel, 3200 West Road, Trenton, MI are as follows: Visitation will be held Monday, February 24th from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Interment will be on Tuesday, February 25th at 1:00 p.m.
