Theresa was born on April 17, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan and died on July 26, 2018 peacefully at her Home in Trenton, Michigan at the age of 88. Theresa worked for a number of years at Prudential Life Insurance Company as an Office Assistance. Theresa married William Lemmer on October 6, 1956 in Dearborn Michigan at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and set up their Home in Trenton Michigan. They had two children John (Debbie), who was born on January 14, 1960 and Jeff (Alex), who was born on September 10, 1965. Theresa's main job after the Boys were born was to be a full time stay at home Mom and take care of them not only in school, but along with Bill, in all of their after-school activities; Boy Scouts, Indian Guides, School Sports and the like. She enjoyed entertaining at their Home in Trenton and was always willing to go the extra mile so that everything looked perfect. After the Boys were at an age when they were far enough in school - going full time, she went back to work with the Trenton and then Woodhaven Public Schools. She started working in the Office as an assistance and then found her niche working in the Media Centers in both districts. After her retirement she too worked for Manheim Auto Auctions in the office assisting Car Dealers with their Title Transfers and any other paperwork. Not only did Theresa find time to keep up their house cooking and cleaning, run the kids to their activities, working part time, and entertaining she also enjoyed planning – Organizing and keeping everything running smooth. She was a planner and organizer, not forgetting any detail along the way. If anything needed researching she was the best at getting to the source and finding out anything that needed to be found out. This trait not only flourished earlier in her life, but also later as her health along with Bill's changed. She needed to be very aware of special diet restrictions and she always made sure that they both got exactly what they were supposed to be having no matter what the aliment was. During Doctor Visits for both her and Bill the Doctors all said that she was the 'Poster Child' for eating healthy and for going the extra mile in taking care of themselves. She always wanted to know exactly what she should be doing, how much or how little, what the numbers were, and how she could take the best care of both of them. Over the course of her Life, she welcomed three Grand Children: Matthew, Mark and Allyson and one Great Grand Child; Ryker and six Fur Ever Friends: Post Card – with a number of her siblings, Brandy, Arminous, Mandy, Tiberious, and Macie. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday August 4 at 5 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Trenton with a Dinner to follow at the Church. Donations in her honor can be made to Great Lakes Caring Home Health and Hospice
