Theodore 'Ted' Haut

Born in New Haven, Michigan, Ted was the son of Joseph and Marian (Day) Haut. Ted was drafted into the United States Army and faithfully served his country in the Army National Guard. He married the love of his life, Rosemary Gonyea, on September 16, 1961 at St. Charles Catholic Church. Ted was very active with his church: serving 50 years with the St. Charles Usher's Club; over 25 years with the Dad's Club, 18 years as the Equipment Director; 30 years as the Refreshment Chair for the church festival and 23 years on the Breakfast Club. Ted also was a member of the Knights of Columbus 1266 in Monroe. He very much enjoyed going "up north" hunting with his buddies but most of all Ted relished time spent with his family, especially the grandkids. Ted leaves to cherish his memory, Rosemary, his wife of the past 53 years; children: Timothy (Tina) Haut of Bay City, Shelley Haut of Newport, Chris (Lynn) Haut of Monroe and Missy Sachs of Newport; twelve grandchildren: Andrea (Joe) Bowen, Brittany (Pat) Greenwood, Brooke Haut, Jake Haut, Cassie Haut, C.J. Haut, Maddie Haut, Mikayla Haut, Emily Gilstorff, Todd Sachs, Tyler Sachs and Anna Sachs; three great grandchildren: Seth Greenwood, Lucas Greenwood and Tilly Bowen; as well as two brothers: John (Darlene) Haut of Newport and Lynwood (Nancy) Haut of Newport. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a son Todd Haut; a brother Robert Haut and a sister Joan Fairchild.
