Sylvia Nowicki
Born in Hamtramck, Sylvia was the daughter of Andrew and Eleanor (Gondeck) Skowran. She married the love of her life, Michael Nowicki, on December 21, 1965. Sadly he preceded her in death November 13, 1921. A dedicated homemaker, Sylvia also had worked at Schwartz's Greenhouse. She was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of The Annunciation Catholic Church. Sylvia enjoyed to puzzles, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Sylvia leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Erica (William) Carrothers; four grandchildren: Alexander, Evan, Piper and Cora; as well as two sisters Margaret Smith and Virginia (Paul) Biggott. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Barbara Duschnaut, Dorothy Lowry and Lawrence.
