Beloved wife of the late Chester. Loving mother of Robert (Karen) Kapelanski, Deborah (the late Leonard) Chorian, Kenneth (Linda) Kapelanski and David (Karen) Kapelanski. Proud grandma of Kimberly (Dave) Nester, Krystal Kapelanski, Devin Kapelanski, Mason Kapelanski, Ashley Kapelanski and Sherry Chorian and great grandma of Addy, Rilynn and Avery. Godmother to Michael Gagnon and Alan Click Also survived by other loving family and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lucy (nee: Bogdanski) Metro and one brother Frank Metro. Visitation is on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Sylvia will lie in state at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6442 Pelham, Taylor, MI 48180 on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Twp., Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Sylvia’s life may be made as the donor chooses.
