Susan Marie Paterson

Born in Toledo, Ohio, Susan was the daughter of Robert and Mary Beth (Starret) Paterson. Susan worked for several local businesses throughout her working career: the Monroe Evening News, Durocher's Furniture and Appliance, the Monroe Holiday Inn and for the past 26 years as Office Manager for St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Susan was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and sang in the Church Choir. She also enjoyed playing cards with her Women's Card Club and traveling. Susan leaves to cherish her memory her father Robert Paterson of Monroe; siblings: Thomas (Jacqueline) Paterson of Toledo, James Paterson of Clemmens, North Carolina and Nancy Rumsey of Ft. Collins, Colorado; as well as a grandson Cayman Herrera of Monroe. Sadly she was preceded in death by a daughter Karin Lee Herrera and her mother Mary Beth Paterson. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Susan are asked to consider St. Paul's United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
