Susan L. Fields

Born in Detroit, Susan was the daughter of Allen and Virginia (McCarthy) Steinert. She had been married to William "Bill" Fields who sadly preceded her in death. Susan worked as a Deli/Bakery Clerk at Meijer here in Monroe for over 20 years, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows on television, but she especially enjoyed watching NCIS. Susan leaves to cherish her memory a son Jeffrey Allen Barnes of California; her siblings: Karen (Bert) Haines of Newport, James (Toni) Steinert of Monroe and David Allen Steinert of Brownstown; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Jan Ellen Wooten; a brother Lawrence Steinert; a niece Jessica Steinert and a nephew Joshua Steinert.
