Steven R. Tanner

Steven R. Tanner, age 68 of Dearborn Heights, passed away on August 18, 2023. He was the loving husband of Claudia Tanner for 8 years, beloved brother of the late John William (Beverly) Tanner III, James Tanner, Peter (Edna) Tanner, and Julie (Mark) Hajec. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his parents John and Ann Tanner, Jr. Steven served as president for many years at the F.O.E., Dearborn Heights. He was also an active member of the American Legion Carl E. Stitt Post 232, Dearborn Heights, and was a retiree from GM in 2013.

Visitation will take place at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Wednesday August 23, 2023, from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 24, Instate 9:00 AM - !0:00 AM with the Mass beginning at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, Wyandotte.
