Steven R. Henthorn

Steven R. Henthorn, of Woodhaven, passed away March 18, 2023. Loving son of Herschel and Sheri Henthorn. Cherished fiancé of Brittony. Proud father of Steven Robert Henthorn Jr., Caleigh Blackburn and Carter Blackburn. Dear brother of Magen Leroux and Herschel Henthorn III. Uncle of Jason Smith. Beloved grandson of Robert Rooker II, Joanne Abbaticchio, the late Herschel Sr., and the late Mary Gale Henthorn. Nephew of Twyla (Pete) Krupsky, Bob Rooker III, Cindy Chamberland and Kat Sandaval. He is survived by many cousins and other loving family members.

Steve loved to fish, and looked forward to taking his son, Steve on his new boat when the weather was better. He would often say that his biggest and best achievement in life is his son. He was a very dedicated father and made sure to make memories with his family whenever he had the opportunity.

He was an avid Red Wings Fan. He was an incredibly hard worker, he worked at Davey Landscaping and American Sprinkler.

He was an old soul, you would not find him playing video games or sitting on the couch inside; he was always outside and enjoying the fresh air, while drinking a beer and listening to good ole Rock and Roll.

He truly was a goof ball and loved cracking jokes. He was often stubborn at times but he was sincerely loving and caring of others. He always looked out for everyone and always offered a helping hand.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Trenton Chapel on Friday March 24, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place Saturday March 25, 2023 at the funeral home at 11:00 pm. Entombment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park immediately after the service.

Memorial contributions can be made directly to Herschel or Sheri Henthorn to be put towards Steven Jr.’s future.
