Stephen Klochko, Jr.

Steve Klochko, Jr., 92, passed away peacefully in the early afternoon hours of July 19, 2020 at StoryPoint Independent living in Saline, Michigan, with his immediate family by his side. Steve Jr. was the youngest son born to Steve Sr. and Clara Klochko on March 31, 1928 in Detroit, MI. Steve Jr. grew up in Detroit and served his country In the U.S. Navy. In 1951 Steve married Irene Turek. They were together until Irene’s death in 2009. Steve and his late-wife Irene founded Klochko Equipment Rental Company (klochko.com) in 1951, and Steve stayed active in the family business until recently. Steve is survived by his eldest son, Steve III (Wendy) Klochko, grandson Chad Klochko M.D., second son Robert (Patty) Klochko , third son Tom (Kimberly) Klochko and grandchildren Kristen and Kennady, Steve was preceded in death by his wife Irene, parents Steve Sr. and Clara; brother Raymond, brother Daniel and sister Patricia. Based on advice from the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit and St. Anselm's church, WE ARE REQUIRED TO LIMIT ATTENDANCE AT THE FUNERAL SERVICE TO EXTENDED FAMILY AND CLOSE BUSINESS ASSOCIATES. All attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing, in addition, seating in the church is limited by Executive Order. That Order requires one family per pew provided that family lives together, all are required to wear a mask in church. We apologize for these limitations but we do not want dad's funeral mass to put anyone in harm's way.
