Sophia Schafer, 52, of Trenton, Michigan, passed away on June 8, 2023.

Sophia was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother who touched the lives of those around her with her warmth, kindness, and an infectious smile. She had a vibrant personality that lit up any room she entered. Sophia had a deep passion for art and creativity, and she expressed herself through various artistic mediums.

Throughout her life, Sophia was a dedicated caregiver, both to her family and those in need. She had a compassionate heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone facing challenges. Her nurturing nature extended to her role as a mother, where she poured love and care into raising her children, creating a loving and supportive home. Sophia had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time in the cabin or on the water, and she cherished the natural beauty of the world around her.

Sophia will be deeply missed by her beloved family, including her children Shawna and Zackery; her loving companion, Scot; her mother Linda; and her siblings Dory, Wendy, and Sherie. She will also be remembered by her extended family and dear friends, who lives she touched profoundly. We take comfort in knowing that Sophia’s spirit will continue to inspire us to live each day with love, compassion and creativity.
