Shirley Rose Kingsley

Born in Monroe, Shirley was the daughter of Roland and Clarabell (Reaume) Frey. She married the love of her life, William Kingsley, on January 15, 1949 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Newport. Sadly he preceded her in death October 26, 2006. A graduate of Monroe High School Shirley worked for many years as a Lab Technician, first for Southgate Dental Lab and then Alpha 6 Dental Lab. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood, she enjoyed gardening and reading. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her children: Victoria (Dave) Bacon of Ecorse, Shelly (Danny) Osborne of River Rouge and Renee (Michael) Yount of Newport, as well as eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a sister Donna Turner of Riverview. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
