Shirley Hill

Born in Ida, Shirley was the daughter of Frank and Addie (Straub) Schneider. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Earl Hill, on July 3, 1947 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Monroe. Sadly he preceded her in death June 23, 2007. A dedicated homemaker, Shirley's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended church at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maybee and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Monroe. Shirley also enjoyed traveling. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her children: David (Catherine) Hill of Apex, North Carolina, Donald (Loretta) Hill of Monroe, Dennis (Gregg Smith) Hill of Temperance and DeeAnn ( the late Thomas) Sachs of West Branch; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Vicky Hill of Monroe and a sister-in-law Mildred Schneider of Monroe. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Dale Hill; her son-in-law, and brother Harold Schneider.
