Shirley Ann Swope

Shirley Ann "Speedy" (nee: Boudrie) Swope, age 89 of Monroe, Michigan passed away on October 29, 2016 at Fountainview of Monroe. The daughter of Harvey and Elsie (nee: Duvall) Boudrie was born on March 22, 1927 in Monore, Michigan. On July 21, 1945 in Monroe she married Wallace Theodore Swope. Shirley is survived by her 3 daughters Judy (Jim) Fischer, Sherry ( Lonnie) Sweat and Linda ( Joseph) Mignano; 6 grandchildren Julie (Scott) Ellison, Joy (Stephen) Stewart, Donald (Nida) Archer, Stacey Geyman, Jason Sweat and Anthony (Pam) Mignano; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 1 brother Daniel (Muriel) Boudrie and 2 sisters Laura (Bob) Lazette and Janice Tiffany. Also survived by other loving family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her sisters Betty Hupp, Ruth Austin and Dolores VanWashenova and her brothers Harvey, James, William and Kenneth Boudrie. Shirley's love in life was her family and she enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, working puzzles and word finds, square dancing, playing dice and doing crafts. Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made to the American Cancer Society.
