Shirley Ann Mayrand

Born in Cheboygan, Michigan, Shirley was the daughter of MaxMillian and Catherine (McLean) Schoenith. She married the love of her life, Norman Conrad Mayrand, on October 11, 1954. Sadly he preceded her in death July 17, 2020. A dedicated homemaker, Shirley also did Home Care for many years. She was a member of St. Andre’ Bessette Catholic Church and in her younger years was an avid runner competing in several marathons. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her children: Cathy (Larry) Browning, Yvonne (Robert) Burrell, Bruce (Therese) Mayrand, Van Mayrand and Gregory (Janice) Mayrand; grandchildren: Bruce (Paula) Mayrand Jr., Beverley (Chad) Kirby, Jacqueline Burrell, Emily (Matthew) Johnson, Andrew Mayrand, Tracie Sylvester, Sherrie (Chris) Jones and Jonathan (Denise) Browning; great grandchildren: Chase, Chloe, Rosalie and Eliza; as well as a brother Thomas Schoenith and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Stella and three siblings: Faye Davis, William Schoenith and Jean Lichius. Memorial contributions in honor of Shirley may be made to Grace Hospice or St. Andre’ Bessette Catholic Church. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life memorial service will be held for both Shirley and Norman at a later date
