Shawn Ray Morris

Shawn Ray Morris was born on August 6, 1968, and passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 54. He was raised in Detroit, MI, and later in life moved to Lincoln Park, MI. Shawn enjoyed listening to heavy metal, attending concerts, and playing poker. His entire world revolved around his daughter, Elizabeth, and granddaughters Mia and Emily.

Shawn is survived by his daughter and her husband Brian Brock, and their daughters. He is also survived by his step-father Carl Fishe, uncle Darryl Dixon, uncle Michael Dixon, and cousins Brian Dixon and Sheila Goulet.

Shawn was preceded in death by father and mother, Glenn and Sharon Morris, as well as his older brothers, Mitchell and Eric Morris.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. There will be a service at the same location on the same day at 6:00 PM. Following the service there will be a sharing of memories.
