Born in Sylvania, Ohio Sean was the son of Walter and Linda (Jacquot) Slaughterbeck. A 1994 graduate of Start High School in Toledo, Sean had recently worked as a Care Giver in the Home Health Care Industry. Prior to working health care he had worked at Firestone here in Monroe. An avid sports fan, Sean's favorite teams included the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and the Miami Dolphins. He also had a great passion for politics, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Sean leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Linda Slaughterbeck of Monroe; a brother Todd (Chastidy) Friess of Bedford, Virginia; nieces and nephews: Katrina (Ethan) Murphy of Bedford, Virginia, Tabitha Friess of Bedford, Virginia and T.J. Friess of Bedford, Virginia; a great niece Alexis Goff of Bedford Virginia; aunts and uncles: Duane and Dorothy Slaughterbeck, Danny and Marsha Stone, Lynn and Robert Studyvin, Ronald and Cindy Slaughterbeck, Terry and Peggy Slaughterbeck and James Zdybek; as well as his cousins: David Slaughterbeck, D.R. Slaughterbeck, Danny Slaughterbeck and good friends Todd and Carol Smith, Mark McLaughlin and family and Mary Hall. A memorial service celebrating Sean's life will be at 6p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Quality Inn and Suites, 1225 N. Dixie Hwy, Monroe.
