Scott Cecil

On July 24th, 2014, Scott Lee Cecil passed away in Prescott, AZ. Scott was born in Detroit, Michigan and was the oldest of five children. His life revolved around his close knit family and community, church, baseball, golf and boy scouts. Scott served our nation for eleven years in the Coast Guard , serving in the Great Lakes region and New Orleans. He lived in many different places and had rich experiences along the way. Scott eventually settled in Prescott, Arizona. Scott had a way with "enjoying the moment", being a faithful friend and employee while bringing laughter to those around him with his humor, good nature and sweetness and love towards all those whose life he touched. He loved going to gaming, was an avid golfer and a faithful fan of the Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers, Lions and the University of Michigan. Scott was a follower of Christ and attended the Methodist church. He loved his family and his family loved him dearly. He will be missed by many.
