Sara Marlor Brown

Sara Marlor Brown, of Woodhaven, passed away January 12, 2023. Proud mother of Sean (Jessica) Marlor, Emlee (Carl) Herron, Richard (Gina) Brown and Kevin Brown. Loving grandma of Leah Marlor, Shaelyn Marlor, and Ariah Marlor. Dear sister of Amy (Herb) Luzczcynski and Erik Marlor. Cherished daughter of Cynthia and the late William. Step daughter of Dan Degg. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Sara was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Lions; she watched every game she could. She treasured Friday nights when she and her sister Amy would try new restaurants together. She adored all animals but especially her grand cats and grand dogs. She was very happy to see the marriage of her daughter Emlee to her husband Carl in October, and looked forward to seeing Richard graduate from the Air Force Academy in May. Her laugh and smile were enjoyably contagious. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother. She would do anything for anyone. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Ford Chapel, 23620 Huron River Drive, Rockwood, Michigan 48173 on Monday January 16 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at 6pm.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Sara to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
