Santos Theresa Brockway

Santos "Theresa" Brockway, age 61, was born September 19, 1956. She was one of six children born from the union of Andres and Esperanza Castro Sr. She was a graduate of Holy Redeemer High School in Detroit and went on to receive her Associates Degree in Medical Administration . Theresa was employed as a Medical Oncology administrator by Beaumont Health for seventeen years. In her position Theresa was able to assist many and display a compassion that was uniquely rewarding to her. Those that knew Theresa would describe her as quiet and reserved, satisfied to enjoy the company of others. She enjoyed gardening and tomato gardens were her forte. She loved a good movie and she enjoyed traveling, particularly cruises with her husband . Family was most important to Theresa, especially when it came to being part of her "Three Musketeers." Her grandchildren brought her much joy, and in her quiet time, she could often be found snuggling with them and was fond of watching their growth and accomplishments. To cherish her memory she leaves her husband Dennis. Children: David (Rita) , Nicholas, Shaun (Anna) and Eric. Grandchildren: Aiden, Addison, Anthony and Sloan. Siblings: Andres Jr.(Christine), Gerald, Diane and Abel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Anna and her canine companion: Maxie.
